International Center

International Center partners with ECIR in sponsorship of the International Picnic, the International Dinner, the Dinner in U.S. Homes project, the Community Service Days, Thanksgiving Home Stays, and much more. There is representation from the IC staff on our Board or committees.

ARC — the Association of Religious Counselors

Both Esperanza Barcelona and Roger Pohl of the ECIR staff are members of ARC. An association of representatives from religious and spiritual communities that serve the students, staff, and faculty of the University of Michigan, ARC links with the office of Dr. E. Royster Harper, UM Vice-President for Student Affairs.

North Campus Family Health Service

Roger Pohl serves on the Community Advisory Council for this nurse-managed program which serves many International students who live on North Campus.

Project Serve

The programs of ECIR link in many ways with the programs of Project Serve, which is located in the Ginsberg Center for Community Service Learning.

Overseas Opportunities Office

Our plans for trips to Central America, the Philippines, and elsewhere are in cooperation with this UM office.
