ECIR’s residence is made up of 47 bedrooms within 21 apartments which are located in two wings (Dotson wing and Harper wing). Of the 21 apartments, ECIR offers 5 one-bedrooms, 6 two-bedrooms, and 10 three-bedroom apartments. Both wings are connected through common areas on the ground floor of the building. A handicap accessible apartment unit is also available on the ground floor.
The common areas include a large lounge, kitchen, library, recreation/ exercise room, and flexible meeting area (Mpanya Room). Regular subscriptions to popular newspapers and magazines are maintained and kept in the library where a phone is also available to residents for making free local phone calls or to use a long distance calling card with. The lounge includes a comfortable living room area, large flat screen TV with cable, and attached is a state of the art kitchen available for resident use. All areas of the building, including common and apartments, have access to Wifi internet. On-site coin-operated laundry is available, and additional storage space assigned to each apartment.
